History

Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 502 (the “District”), a political subdivision of the State of Texas, created by an order of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (“TCEQ or “Commission”), dated August 16, 2007, is located approximately 24 miles northwest of the central business district of Houston, Texas, south of the intersection of SH-290 and Barker-Cypress Road. The District is located within the extra-territorial jurisdiction (“ETJ”) of the City of Houston and lies wholly within Harris County, Texas. The acreage of the District is 882.75 acres of land. The District operates in accordance with Chapters 49 and 54 of the Texas Water Code, as amended, and other general laws of Texas applicable to municipal utility districts.
